A 'Milk' even vegans can get into
Want to be in the upcoming Harvey Milk movie? Well this might be your last chance!
No, Sean Penn hasn't dropped out thus leaving an opening in the lead slot. But the production DOES need extras. We've just received word that the producers of MIlk are looking for warm bodies for this Sunday morning (8 A.M.-ish) to help recreate the legendary Gay Freedom Day of 1978. It may not win you an Oscar or even get you invited to the premiere. But it just might give you the future joy of pausing the DVD at a party and dazzling your friends with your role as "Third speck from the left. No not that one, the one next to it. See Me? No, No, NO -- I'm the white speck. Yea, that one." And that's kinda cool, no?
Your thoughts
I was so there. It was my third day as an unpaid extra and it was great. With a little luck either I, my SO or both of us will end up on the silver screen for a second or two. If not, at least we did something we feel good about.
