Far right against our blood: Why must they B Negative?

by Jeremy Hooper

200803281617Remember when we showed you Matt Barber's frighteningly vitriolic commentary in which he condemned those who are encouraging society to rethink the antiquated blanket bans on gay male blood donation? Well, that same commentary has been cross-posted in full on the AFA's OneNewsNow, one of the scant few "pro-family" sites that actually allows for reader comments. So we thought we'd take a second and show you all the lovely things that the good Christians who've chosen to utilize ONN's comment function have to say about the "wicked" gays who should be arrested by the National Guard if they try and donate their their "tainted" blood:

Picture 14-43

Oy! Well here's just hoping these folks never take up the topic of gay sperm donation. After all, that involves our damned fluids, jerking our poles while thinking about the dude-sex, spilling our seed outside of standard procreation, and helping some (including lesbians) to conceive out of wedlock. Hell, they're likely to explode with all the misplaced rage that such a scenario would surely inspire!

'Gay' activists risk your life - tolerate it! [ONN]

**It should be noted that we have tried to make two different comments on this story in the past two days, and ONN has yet to approve either one. So there's a very good chance that the above are not a fair representative sample of the comments they've truly received.

**UPDATE
: As you will notice if you try clicking the above link, the AFA has put a redirect on traffic coming from our site!!!!! More here.

Your thoughts

Jeremy,

Only my most nuetral comments have been posted on ONN lately, there was a brief time when the majority of comments opposed the bias their articles showed and they have really started monitoring and not posting anything but comments that agree or go even farther. Many of the comments show a beleif that "gay" blood is somehow tainted. It is like they beleive we are aliens or something. Although, I hope I am not the same species as these posters on ONN.

It's starting to look a lot like FR.

I've been reading comments on ONN for some time now, and they are really quite fascinating. They have to be from some of the most ignorant people on earth. They live in a nation with the best educational opportunities in the world, and they proudly choose ignorance and superstition. They are just pathetic.

It's one thing to read the articles from AFA, CWFA, AFTAH, TVM, FRC, FOTF, and all the rest, but these comments on ONN are by some of the people who actually enable these outfits to exist. They add another dimension to my understanding of who/what we are dealing with. I assume they are the worker-bees who dutifully send in their small donations to support these outfits.

To that second to last commenter in the posting - That actually happened on "Degrassi: The Next Generation." The show you referred to "Degrassi Junior High," was on decades ago.

To all of ONN's commenters - I'm monogamous, HIV/STD free and in good health. Why can't I donate blood?

Does it really come as a surprise your comment was moderated?

GayMormonBoy, I was going to say that too about Degrassi, haha. I wish I had known about that show in high school instead of now in college, but better late than never.

It'd be nice to think the sentiment of the referenced episode reaches more people than the ridiculousness on the OneNewsNow website.
