Video: Looking backwards at backwards thinking
God bless YouTube. It allows us to experience past anti-gay incidents that we had previously only read (and wretched) about. Like, for example, this infamous comment that Jamaican dancehall artist Shabba Ranks made In 1992 on the British Channel Four programme "The Word":
Ah, 1992. A Clinton was trying to replace a Bush in the White House. Mariah Carey was topping the pop charts. And Jamaican artists were frequently catching shit for brutal insensitivity towards gay people. It's good to see that we've grown so much in 16 years!

Shabba sucks, I never cared for him. Shaggy was much better, IMO!
