Will Westboro lose their erections?
As you might have already heard by now, a federal judge has decided to play hardball with Westboro Baptist Church. In a move towards obtaining payment in the multi-million dollar verdict that was cast against the "fag haters" last year, U.S. District Court Judge Richard D. Bennett has put liens on two of their most important buildings: the Westboro Baptist Church building and the family's Phelps-Chartered Law office. See The Capital Journal for more:

(H/t: I Must Be Dreaming)
So will the Phelpses end up having to sell the houses from which they've thrown so many stones, or will the queer-loathing funeral picketers get out of this one on an appeal or some other means (as they so often do)? Well of that we can't be sure. However, if they do end up losing these two spaces, we just want to go ahead and ask of all of our readers: Anyone wanna help finance two new delightfully decadent gay bars in Topeka, Kansas? Because we just so happen to know of a pair of PERFECT spaces that might be opening up!!
**UPDATE: Despite their legal/real estate woes, the church is continuing their war against the "gay-friendliness" of some very surprising folks. Like, for instance, the constantly gay-decrying Pope, as well as Bush-appointed Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts:
Westboro: The one church who's "too Jesus-y" for both the Vatican and the conservative wing of the Republican party.
***NOTE: The above Westboro press releases can be found on their website. However, a link from us is something those lint-covered lollipops will never receive.
**UPDATE 2: Some students at UW-Stout recently took a stand against Westboro's shenanigans. The Phelpses reportedly left after 15 minutes:

Thanks for the link, Jeremy!
