And for her honeymoon, Matt suggests an 'ex-gay' conference

by Jeremy Hooper

200805280817Speaking about John McCain's recent appearance on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" and the tenuous well-wishes that that the senator wished the soon-to-be-wed talk show host, the Concerned Women For America's Matt Barber says the following to One News Now:

"I would like to mirror that sentiment," he says. "I wish Ellen nothing but happiness -- but not the kind of quasi-happiness that comes in the temporal, or in this world through sinful self-indulgence. I would wish upon her the type of happiness that can only come from a relationship with Jesus Christ."

Which is an amazing coinkydink, as we hear Ellen actually plans to register at:

What are the odds that Matt would know that?!

Here's just hoping Matt thinks to get a gift receipt, in case Ellen receives more than one son of God.

**NOTE: Because One News Now is apparently in the third grade, they are still redirecting all of the links from our site so that they instead point to an "Are you a good person?" test. To view the source link, you have to have to copy it and open in a new window: Is McCain for civil unions? [ONN]

Your thoughts

There should be a way around their little trick Jeremy. Have you done any research about it?

Honestly, Sam, it says so much about their mentality that I really don't care to work around it. Their source links can always be accessed by cutting and pasting. If they want to keep proving their childish hostility towards dissension and discourse, more power to them.

Matt is the kind of guy to bring a lime jello mold to a party no one would touch.

If i right click and chose open in new window or tab it loads fine, but if i just click on the link normally it doesn't.

So . . . Matt is offering the kind of happiness that he "enjoys???" He has never seemed like a really happy kind of guy to me! I think I'll pass.

But, maybe it is more that misery lives company?? And, he would really love more "company" (wink-wink).

To paraphrase Matt "I ain't judging, but it just ain't right"

We love to watch "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and can't imagine not being able to. That's why we support our friends in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and neighbouring countries who want to be able to watch the show on a German TV channel and therefore signed the "TEDS in Deutschland" online petition. THANK YOU !
