God the Bounty Hunter
Speaking about our opposition's apparently successful drive to get a gay marriage amendment on the state's November ballot, a San Diego pastor by the name of Chris Clark tells Baptist Press:
"Without a doubt this is a God-sized victory," Clark said. "This is not something that we could have done in and of ourselves. It took the Lord and His Spirit to unite a coalition that crossed denominational and cultural lines, theological lines, to come together for this sole purpose."
So if your marriage does end up getting banned by your government's most precious governing document, gays and lesbians, just remember that it is not just your community of humans that made it that way. No, no -- it was also the man upstairs. And by that we don't mean that weird dude who lives in the apartment above you. We mean that God, the big enchilada of benevolent deities, has helped to birth a government that deems your tax-paying existence in ways lesser than that of your 'rosexual brothers and sisters.
And here we thought we were bros, Holy Spirit! ::sigh:: Why must all our friends and supreme beings swing towards the right as they age?!

They have to give god credit for everything that costs them two million bucks, 'cause if you ask them, only god has as much money as the gays.

We don't all swing right as we age, as long as our brain cells and hearts keep working properly. Those who need support start panicking when they know they might not make it past the Pearly Gates... as if anything we really do here on earth makes any difference . This is particulary acute when friends and family 'your' age start dying.

And what if our (Godless?) Supreme Court allows marriages with their verdict? Who wins then.... we know... we all do.
