At this Sunday's NYC Pride parade, George Takei and his betrothed, Brad Altman, will march with the GLAAD contingent:

Though not to be outdone in making "Star Trek" connections: We plan to be on-site letting the elderly woman standing next to us know if a bird Shatner hair.

Oh, common with the Shatner pun. It's as bad as the "Can a chicken catch a Tory" one about the revolutionary war! Blah! LOL

...Thanks Bill..GAAAH..I almost missed it trying to get back here and vent over the errors in the very brief GLAAD announcement. What their writers need etiquette training I guess, she said that Brad Altman was George's partner... WAS is right ....NOW and until he is huband, he is his fiance! (FYI thats one e for men two ee's for women)
Also George and Brad were NOT the first to get their license in WEHO on June 17...apparently no one told the clerks or the giddy couple who stepped in front of them, but it is reported George was, of course, gracious. They certainly were/are the epitome of celebrity licensees to date.
