Now THIS is judicial activism!
In a letter sent to the Bench and Bar Committee of the Oklahoma Bar Committee, Sooner State District Judge Bill Graves has lashed out against proposed changes to the organization's governing rules that would help shore up protections on the basis of sexual orientation. Graves says the "liberal, pro-homosexual American Bar Association" is "promoting the homosexual agenda which is to have homosexual treated as normal and natural and heterosexuality." And of that weren't enough, he also suggests that "'sexual orientation' would include pedophiles and polygamists," as well as propagates an antiquated definition of gay sex as "the detestable and abominable crime against nature."
