I'm surprised that AFA would admit to their members EVEN eating fast food - you know, "healthy body - healthy soul" - I find it hard to believe AFA will bring down many "M" signs in the U.S.

I have really been disappointed in the quality at McDonalds lately, but I think I might just have to go and buy a crap load of burgers and fries! (They have veggie burgers? are they good?)

So AFA gets their panties in a twist over a $20,000 donation to NGLCC? That's chump change to McD's. I don't eat at McD's but I'd gladly go buy something off the dollar menu and give it to a homeless person just to show my support!

Well they'd better not eat at Burger King and probably a number of other fast food restaurants either, since many are doing precisely what McDonald's is doing. Bad news for them also is that both Coke & Pepsi have bought into the "gay agenda" as well so it's no sodas anywhere for them either...

I lost 63 pounds, and counting because I am staying away from fast food but after reading this I think it is time to run down to the nearest one and pig out before going to work.

Randy I never had their veggie burger but I heard they were pretty good. I don't know where you are located and if they carry them by you I know that Manhattan McD's carry them.

I would love to see the faces of the kids when soccer mommy tells them they can't eat McDonald's ever again because of the gays. haha Maybe this will be a catalyst for parents to find healthy alternatives for their kids.

I never knew they had a veg. burger either. I must admit that my veg. self really haven't been in a McDonald's in years. I have gotten an iced coffee or two from the drive-thru, but haven't paid attention to the menu.

One approach to this is to wrench their petition. Go to the petition and at the name and email boxes type in your thoughts for example:

First Name: "James_Dobson_is_an_ignorant_biggot"
Last Name: "AFA_is_evil_incarnate"
Email: "[email protected]"

While it may add numbers to their petition, overtime it may diminish the impact of the AFA's antihuman email petitions.

Well this is def. one of those situations where you can be of two minds on the subject. Resisting the AFA does not necessarily have to mean support for McDonald's, and resisting McDonald's CERTAINLY doesn't have to mean support for the AFA.

I just finished my #4 combo with a Coke. :-) I've been trying to patronize McD's ever since the news came out that they had a guy on the board at the NGLCC. I wrote them a thank you note a while back too. It might not be a bad idea for others to also write a quickie thanks.

I've never liked MickeyD's food, even when I was a kid. But I guess now, between this and their agreeing to pay the tomato-pickers more, I'll have to start eating there once in a while.

Actually I got a better idea. I couldn't do it with the Ford boycott, naturally because Fords are kind of pricey for everyday purchase but I can here.

The AFA doesn't post any of the posotive comments on their site. I know because I tried to post one. What are they so afraid of? Thank You McDonald's for showing your support.

Everyone seems to have the right reaction to this. I did go through theier site to leave a positive message to NBC when they went after Book of Daniel a few years ago. Now I am on thier mailing list. But that means you do get thier missives and get to see what's in thier minds.

What was great was Wildmon's (fondly referred to as NoNeck on my blog because...well...he has no neck) meltdown when Ford continued not to capitulate to the AFA.
