Showtime's next L Words: Leisure Suits, Ludes, and Lipps Inc.
Good news for those left underwhelmed by 1998's ultra-sanitized, virtually gayless feature film treatment of the club. It has just been announced that Showtime is producing a new drama series revolving around the heyday of NYC's Studio 54 and its openly gay impresario, Steve Rubell:
