Your thoughts

Three cheers for Congressman Patrick Murphy! (my congressman!) It is amazing that when Ms. Donnelly is backed into a corner regarding her comment that our Military could not be "professional" enough to deal with the unit cohesion issue she tries to change the subject to SEX. I think that Cong. Murphy just got tired of the garbage that she was spouting and moved on to someone who knew more about respect for his fellow soldiers, addressing Staff Sargent Alva about unit cohesion. Alva's comments only prove that keeping alive your fellow soldier is a whole lot more important than SEX.

I loved it. For the first time, I saw someone actually stop a political moron (Elaine) from trying to change the question, so that she doesn't have to answer it. Loved it!
Especially when he just dismissed her and moved onto someone who knows first hand how the military works.

HA! One News Now has an article today entitled "Pro-family leader argues against H.R. 1246" and it starts by stating: "A conservative pro-family leader gave a compelling argument before a House Subcommittee on why Congress should reject a bill that would allow homosexuals to serve in the military."
I guess they hope their readers only look to their site for news as her testimony seems to have been wholly rejected by both parties involved in the hearing...

I'm so proud to have Murphy as my congressman. I called and told his office that today.

If you have not seen it, I highly recommend the op-ed in yesterday's Washington Post on the hearings. Dana Milbank absolutely tore Donelly to shreds. I can't remember the last time I saw such a hilarious, withering smack down in the MSM:
