Wouldn't it make more sense the other way around. It's sounds like we started out wanting more than everybody and then changed our minds about it.

I hope you have seen Pete's latest post on Folsom. It is so odd, it almost makes me think he is actually working for us. Trying to make his side look so unhinged.

Just take a look at the poster he includes. He has barred the website from being seen but the man with a dripping penis is in full view. It's simply bizarre!

My hatred of the announcement was destroied by the dancey remix at the end. Being gay, I was drawn to the rhythm but as I sang along with the lyrics posted on the screen I suddenly began speaking in tongues and my desire to destroi the nation melted away.

It's interesting that he uses "Pride goes before the fall" at the begining. It's a bit prideful to say the Holy Ghost approves of this video.

I like the crazy ones the best, because they obliterate the bogus “pro-familiy”, “love the sinner, hate the sin” façade and show the true fear and lack of rationality at the heart of fundamentalists.

The funny part is they have no clue that their own arrogance IS "pride". And everyone in America knows that there's nobody in this country as arrogant and full of pride (among other things) than these "born-again christian" types.

So stay out of the way when THEIR inevitable "fall" happens - just 2 or 3 of those "concerned women for America" alone will cause an earthquake. Colorado itself might get crushed and shattered off the map.

No, no, no – you miss the point, my friend. The intention is much more sinister than that: the point is not to convert other people, but to keep the ones who already share their views in check. As Jeremy so often points out, these conservative types know their time is coming and realise that it is futile to try and win new people to their cause, so the best they can do is try to keep the ones they have and hope that a revival in socially conservative ideals takes place before they die out completely.
It's a defence mechanism.
