Well, Pepsi always has been the sweet one
It's just been announced that PepsiCo is giving a $500,000 grant to PFLAG (Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbians and Gays to). PageOneQ has more:
PepsiCo Foundation grants $500,000 to PFLAG [P1Q]
Refreshing!
And don't go thinking that enraged social conservatives are going to find an easy solution by rushing to their grocery stores to tock up on Coke instead. For that particular soft drink company has, for the past several years, maintained a perfect 100 rating on HRC's Equality index:
Coca-Cola Co [HRC]
So it looks like in addition to their forty day fast, those evangelicals who are committed to the anti-gay cause or going to have to stick primarily to water if they want to drink their convictions. That is, at least, until the nation's H20 supply also realizes that the pollutant known as bias has no place in society's well.
Your thoughts
Don't forget, most bottled water comes from the Coca-cola and Pepsi companies as well.

If I may be allowed an anal-retentive moment, you're confusing Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO) with the much much smaller bottling company Coca-Cola Enterprises (NYSE:CCE). (Though I have no doubt that "real" Coca-Cola is a perfectly fine, gay-friendly company.)

KipEsquire: I actually just provided the wrong link. I meant to do Coca Cola Co., which is also a 100.
It's fixed now.
