Video: Controversial ad gets Fred-ited
Remember earlier this week when we showed you the ad for which Focus on the Family has supposedly booked network air time? Well, we haven't forgotten about that issue. We've been in touch with ad people all over the channel guide, and so far have no confirmation of the ad's intended airing. But if it HAS been booked, you best believe we will be on it like a Fargo-esque accent on Sarah Palin. That's not us trying to stifle anyone's speech -- it's us using our own speech to have a positive influence on corporate decision-making. Because call us self-lovers if you must, but we aren't comfortable with major televisions networks that we watch and support advertising for a site that wishes to "change" us due to a belief that our truth "violates God's intentional design."
But now that they weighty stuff is out of the way, let's have some fun with it. A reader has used the FOF ad to inject some of his own social commentary. Enjoy:
Teehee.

Your thoughts
Ugh! My name is German for "Fred."
So, I just registered the domain "thanksfritz.com" and I'm going to do a parody of thanksfred.com with a German twist. I'm thinking prison camps and gas chambers.
I'm not kidding.
