But he of course means 'violent bloodshed' in the nice, moral Christian way
What sort of people are reading conservative news site WorldNetDaily? Well, people like John Robert Mallernee, a man who is quite literally threatening "violent bloodshed" against pro-gay society.
This comes from a WND forum in which the topic up for discussion is the American Family Association's just-announced boycott of PepsiCo:
And all because PepsiCo supported Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) in that organization's attempts to ensure fair and equal workplace environments. What happens when we actually get something like national marriage equality, Mr. Mallernee -- bomb the Castro?
Keep talking, social conservatives. You help us more than even our most far-reaching bouts of activism!!

Your thoughts
Could you just post the text or justify the image to the left please? I'm not sure if it's my monitor resolution (pretty big but not the biggest) but the text on the right side is being cut off.

Hmm..ur monitor shouldn't be a variable. Is it cut off for anyone else? That would be interesting for me to know.
Anyway, yes, here's the text:

The Coming Violence
Posted by wr139649 on Jan 09, 2009 03:26
Greetings:
First of all, I love Pepsi-Cola.
It is my favorite soft drink.
Since all the major corporate industries appear to be catering to the homosexuals, a boycott won't do any good.
I reckon they just flat out don't care.
But, some things are important, very important, too important to be ignored.
Because the law and the courts are being used to enforce preferential treatment for homosexuality, along with other unacceptable perversions, I see a line being drawn in the sand, a line that can never be crossed.
In order to protect their families from these wicked influences, some men will be forced to take up arms and resort to violent bloodshed, either in open revolt against our contemporary government, or as organized night riding vigilantes.
For some issues, there can be no peaceful resolution.
Thank you.

Hey, Jeremy, just a note - my right side was cut off also - not much but a bit and I couldn't reach it using the variable that was availale to me.

Maybe we should contact the Armed Forces Retirement Home and let them know who and what is being said under their roof. According to his blog, he is a member of the Screaming Queens...erm EAGLES.He's also known as 'Saigon' and is an undiscovered songwriter. He is a discovered asshole though.

I think I figured out why. Let me know if it's better now.

It probably wasn't a good idea to mention bombing the Castro. They have been known to troll these sights and I definitely wouldn't put it above them.

Looks OK now.

Looks fine to me now...your 1:08PM... Well it doesn't look very fine at all really. I do think it should be mentioned to someone. I for one am sending copy to my local np editor.

:(
Hopefully, some nice official people will come and have a talk with him about why this isn't proper behaviour. It'll mean people have to complain, though. I'm not American, and I'm not sure who one could complain to. But it needs as much publicity as possible.

You know, I HATE just about every Pepsi product known to man, but I will drink it now. Thanks Pepsi for being kind and standing your ground!!

...and this from Jon in Canada: as a comment on them trying to change the donor law.
"Forgive me but from where I sit it would appear that many of the religious supporters need to be reminded of a Biblical adage that goes something like this: “…verily I say unto you, as you sow, so shall you reap.”
The supporters of Prop 8 have sown the wind and now reap the whirlwind."

This whole time in history right now is like watching the waning years of the old Klans from the south (which later became Republicans) all over again. All socially dysfunctional people end up becoming republicans. Then when they die they get reborn as rainbow colored AstroGlide - Cinnamon flavored.
