How do you maintain your sanity reading this stuff, Jeremy? I mean, they're not just unbearably mean-spirited and hateful, they're also idiots!

I think the line that really caught my attention was "NOT ONE OF YOU THANKING GOD FOR HIS MERCY." How do they know? Were they with each of the passengers before they went to sleep at night, on the next leg of their trip (however they went)? For all anyone knows, EACH one of them sincerely thanked GOD. ONLY THEY KNOW!!!

One other bit of insanity from my sister. It's puzzling to me how god could hate America then, just randomly, decide to show mercy. That's the beauty of belief in mythology...you can be as random and irrational as possible and all around you say Amen!

I dunno, it seems kinds disingenuous for them to accuse others of not thanking God for being merciful. Whenever something bad happens, the only thing they have to say is that they wish some greater number had perished.

Also, calling out passengers for sitting in their seats as a plane crashes? WTF, people who've done as much air travel as they have should know that you're supposed to stay put, fasten your seatbelt, put on the oxygen mask etc. It's like they're desperate to smear as many people as possible, and it's really, really pathetic.

If you are a person whose heart has been struck with the mercy of God, and you are aware that God has spared you so you aren't cast off TODAY; and that God has given you another chance to repent and obey TODAY, wild horses wouldn't be able to shut you up about it. You'd be knocking people down to get to those hundreds of cameras that were all over that scene, and you would be singing like a bird! (No pun intended. :-D)

You would be saying to this Godless brutish nation words like, "Wake up! God is merciful if you OBEY! Stop sinning! Your sin is taking you to hell!" Then after you did that for a period you would have a good feel for the raging foaming-at-the-mouth mob of rebels this nation is, and then you would get back to that microphone, no matter what it took, and say, "God hates this doomed nation! Fear God! Obey!"

Instead, the only words that came out of that exercise-in-bruthish-mindless-pride was ALL ABOUT THE HUMAN and how marvelous THE HUMAN was and what glory THE HUMAN should be given. You worship the creature instead of the Creator in this nation and GOD HATES YOU FOR IT -- ALL OF YOU -- EACH OF YOU -- ANY OF YOU WHO DON'T SAY RIGHT WORDS!

Pick me - Marge doesn't get to say all the words! First - WHO is our brother? The Lord Jesus Christ answered that - it goes like this - ALL HUMAN TIES WILL PERISH!! And these that do the will of God are my brother, sister, mother, father, children, etc.

YAY!!! Those words are so awesome!! Look what God said! He said - I do what I want and you can't stop me! He had Pharaoh born into this world so that he would grow up and become Pharaoh and then God would send Moses to tell him the words and God would harden Pharaoh’s heart so that Pharaoh would NOT obey and then, God, to show his power and to get his glory kicked Pharaoh’s ass. Pharaoh was the King of the most powerful nation in the earth in his day, his army was second to NONE! When God was done with Pharaoh, every last soldier in his army was dead at the bottom of the Red Sea. God did that to glorify his name. All the events that led up to that amazing final outcome were done before the eyes of the world and all eyes witnessed when God destroyed Egypt's entire army and it caused them great fear and so many more words about that. The short of this is - the answer lies in the words, and the words condemn Nathan Phelps. He is just another rebel without a cause, and WORSE. Because he made a profession of faith and he was a member of the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Now see the words about what hope he has at this hour and then understand what motivates his running mouth in blasphemy against HIS CREATOR and learn to Fear God! Well i'm just gonna say it....The Westboro Baptist church are inbred morons, but God will probably have pity on them in the end. Spreading the word of God is not the same as spreading the stories of wrath by God. I've never seen such a blatant perversion of scripture. Blatant disregard for the covenants. Ignorant of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Complete lack of compassion. The bible warns us of these things. These false prophets. Picket signs do not equal righteousness.

I would rather burn in hell than please their version of God.
