In the equality for all race, many groups hold the baton
What ill effects have been wrought by the anti-gay movement's constant claims that gays, in fighting for their civil rights (little "c"), are "highjacking" the Civil Rights Movement (big "C")? Misplaced aggression like this, that's what:
History has room, my friend. Unite, don't divide.

**Oh, and it's Bayard (pronounced BUY-ard), not Bernard. And yes, his presence is and was significant. So are the opinions of Civil Rights heroes like Congressman John Lewis, the late Coretta Scott King, and many others.

I saw that. Well, at least as much of it as I could stand without throwing up. Someone has serious issues to say the least. And I'm reminded yet again how very much we're hated.
They just don't get it. They really don't get it.
