Video: Look, we find a handful out of millions to go on camera. We must be right.
Some people saw the inauguration as an opportunity to move away from the divisive, anti-intellectual, unfair, hurtful, un-American, discriminatory, baseless, polarizing, anti-civil rhetoric that has so fully divided us in the past. Others saw it as an opportunity to keep one specific version of this rhetoric alive and unwell:
"Traditional marriage." The simplistic term alone belongs to an earlier administration and time. We the people are better than the bias.

All they’re really saying is that they support heterosexuality. They may as well be saying they support sunlight.

As much as I know these are simply a few people against gay marriage, to hear this montage of people saying it brings a sting of tears to my eyes. The love my girlfriend and I share is the most genuine and beautiful thing I've ever experienced. I can't imagine how anyone could hate on it. If only they could see what it's really all about.
