Wilde ride nearing end
It's a sad day, literary gays. The owner of NYC's Oscar Wilde Bookshop has announced that the 41-year-old Greenwich Village mainstay, believed to be the oldest LGBT bookstore in the nation, will be closing for good on March 29:
Venerable Gay Bookstore Will Close [NY Times -- City Room]
Goddamn you internet killing all aspects of gay media!
Oh wait a minute. Uhm...
Your thoughts
Love...bookstores...But those are DEAD TREE books..so sorry. NOT GREEN!, unless all reprinted on recycled. Too bad it can't update to a wifi coffee shop..with GOOD-AS-YOU ads on the walls!
