Photo: Applauding murder
The following murder-feting sign was being held up outside last week's Prop 8 hearing:
(photo is being sent around by EQCA)
Pretty insane, right? Yea, we thought so too. Which is why we have taken the liberty of making it more compassionate and palatable:
A Milk-less world or a milk-less sandwich: You decide which you would rather applaud. Then connect the dots and see where the marriage debate's extremism truly lies!
Your thoughts
But white bread? :\

*shivers, and shakes head* Even tho' you guys are making light of it... It's still horrifying to see some one advocate the killing of anybody.
We wouldn't and don't wish death on them.
Why do they do so to us?

Clicky: Fear, ignorance, flawed teachings, non-accepting communities, stereotypes, a world that instantly teaches boys to adopt blue and girls to adopt pink, heterosexism, a handful of biblical passages, sex-negativity, a society that all too often places a premium on aggression over rational discourse, the casual acceptance of violence in other areas of life, a need for an easy scapegoat, a reluctance to seem weak...

Because God only made "thou shall not kill" a commandment when it refers to Christians. When it's matters or war, gays, heathens, Catholics, Muslims, or anyone who doesn't think Jerry Fallwell is sitting pretty next to God at the Big Sizzler in the sky, killing is A-OK in God's eyes.
And did you guys see that "Top Ten Christian Bashing moments of 2008" video? I think Jeremy had it on here, I might have seen it on Queerty though. Their side is praising a murder in the name of Jesus CHrist, but Jack Black dressed as Jesus is just UNTHINKABLE.
So ridiculous, these people. Baptists zealot Christians are the new KKK.

We're definitely winning in the long run, but that means we need to be more careful than ever. An animal is at its most dangerous when cornered, because by that point, it doesn't care who it takes down with it.

How come this concerned citizen's face isn't in the picture? I mean, when you have opinions that strong, when you consider yourself a warrior of sorts, you don't hide your face -- do you?

Taylor: here's the nutty dude behind the sign:

RainbowPhoenix: That's absolutely right. I would argue that a politically powerless far-right is far more frightening than one that feels connected to the process.
