Video: Couric + 'The L Word' - prescription drug ads - half the budget = Gay news worth peeping

by Jeremy Hooper

Do you know that Logo has a weekly half-hour news show? It's true. "Rupaul's Drag Race" may get all the promotional muscle, but "365 Gay News" is helping the nascent network build up political voice that, quite frankly, has been far too faint since the gay cabler's '05 launch.

So in the interest of promoting the Viacom mothership's politically-engaged efforts in blatant hopes that they will recruit us for more and bigger gigs, we thought we'd show you some of the recent stories that we found worthing checking out. Supreme 'homophobes,' spouses wishing to be treated like spouses, and spurned gaymers are the focuses of these CBS News-powered pieces:

*"356 Gay News" premieres on Thursday nights at 7PM (ET), re-airing throughout the weekend.
