As if April Fools Day weren't filled with enough 'sykes'
Beginning in either the fall of '09 or January of 2010, out lesbian Wanda Sykes will start hosting a Saturday late night talk show for the Fox network:
The show is said to be more in the mold of Bill Maher's HBO show than a typical talk show. It will air Saturdays at 11 and will be an hour long.

So let's see: That means we have lesbians on daytime, late night, financial advice, and basic cable news shows. It seems that if you're a female who wants to talk on the boob tube, you might wanna ratchet up your affection for ... tubes.
Now we just need a prime time sitcom centered around a lesbian lead. Perhaps next season we'll come to find out that "How I Met Your Mother's" title is actually referring to Robin, not Ted?
