There's simply no way around it: They are fomenting a world that declares all-out war on gay lives and loves!

by Jeremy Hooper

What does a militant, anti-gay manifesto look like? Well, it looks like this, a tree-based attempt by NOM to raise both $1 million in cash and "an army of supporters" willing to stand against fairness:

(thanks to LOrion for sending this in!)

*More from NOM's Epic FAIL of a month: NOM's embarassing casting tapes. NOM denies comments. NOM supports 2M4M. NOM is despised by YouTube community, receiving parody after parody after parody. NOM is unpopular even on their own Facebook page. NOM forfeits chance to defend their failure of an ad. NOM overextends their copyright. NOM's Brian Brown forfeits chance to defend self. NOM issues a "fact sheet" that only gets the "sheet" part right. NOM's Maggie Gallagher compares self to Vaclav Havel. NOM is cited as a death knell for their movement. Despite all this, NOM claims that their ad is a "success." NOM has a board member who once suggested Americans should "destroy" their gay-accepting government. Then they ratchet up the absurdity one more notch and actually "thank" Stephen Colbert for viciously skewering them.

Your thoughts

I bet the group will probably solicit Miss California as a fund raiser.

Wow, I did not know that they were located in Princeton NJ! It might be good if they went across Nassau St. to the large ivy covered universtiy and took some geography lessons.

"...will jepordise the marriage statutes of 48 states..."
I thought we had 50 states. If DOMA (a Federal act) was to be repealed would it not affect all of the states?

Maybe President Obama and congress should just repeal all of the 1,100 "benefits of marriage" Why should you be rewarded for shacking up together. To think NOM says gay people want "special rights", it seems like they are the winners when it comes to "special rights".

"Allowing judges in one state to impose same-sex marriage in 48 other states"

Gotta love their basic arithmetic skills.

48 states? They must still be under the impression that they can win back Iowa and Vermont.

I literally laughed out loud at the "one less Big Mac each month." I thought they had already cut McDonalds out of their diet altogether! (oh wait. we were supposed to forget about that campaign, weren't we?)

Well Ben, as a vegetarian I will certainly pledge to give them less than what I spend on Big Macs in a month :-)

I notice that one of the donation options is to become a "Monthly Sustaining Partner." Don't they mean "Monthly Sustaining Husband/Wife"?
