GAG. ME.

by Jeremy Hooper

With an apparent lack of irony, Maggie Gallagher just twittered the following:

Picture 5-205

No Mags: Thanks to the unrighteous maneuverings of people like yourself, the civil rights have already been stripped. The question for the day: Will the California SC will send a message to the world that majority tyranny has limitations? It may go one way or it may go another -- but the "right" to discriminate in civil matters will not be emboldened by this or any court outcome!

Seriously, Maggie: You're a seemingly smart person. You HONESTLY see a future wherein your side's civil marriage rollbacks will be hailed in museums and documentaries as a positive civil rights advancement??! You seriously see one group's rolled back freedoms as something that deserves honor? You literally think the word "civil right" should apply to those who use personal faith views to hurt millions?

And yet we're the ones who are accused of dishonoring past fights?! Puh-leeze!

Your thoughts

I KNOW! My response: Your inability to comprehend the term "civil rights" frightens and astounds me.

It's like they did a quick search for buzzwords they hadn't used in a while but that other groups had been able to leverage to their advantage. And the result was painful irony.

Actually, if Maggie were really living up to that Yale degree, she'd note that *all* voters would be affected by this ruling, not just the ones who voted "Yes." But she's just not that bright.

Sometimes you have to wonder about about the motives of people who launch themselves to prominence by espousing ultra-right-wing views which clearly lack any semblance of intelligence. [Hey Ann Coulter!]

Or ... is Gallagher's life so miserable and in desperate need of attention that she will risk her grand and great grand children one day looking down on her in utter shame and embarrassment?

Either way, its a sad, pathetic cry for attention that will ultimately explode in her face like a flying pie. [Hey Anita Bryant!]

Let's hope its a fruit pie.

Anyone else ever have one of those moments where you need to remind yourself that if you punch the monitor, you won't actually hurt the one you're angry at and you'll only end up with a broken hand and a broken monitor?

Maggie, You fat, unattractive, hateful, pathetic woman, get another hobby.
