Oh, the shameless irony
The following ad is running on several of our posts, including one that covers how the National Organization For Marriage has refused to post loads of pro-equality comments to their blog:
And it should be noted that this "gays are viewpoint discriminators" ad is running immediately above the comments section on many of our posts. A comments section were anyone from any viewpoint can leave whatever sort of comment they wish to leave.
But hey, we are talking about NOM here. Self-awareness and accuracy seem to be far less important concepts to Ms. Gallagher and Mr. Brown than are are-pulled claims and beauty queen martyrdom.
*Note: For now we're leaving the ads up. Why? Because every time you click them, NOM has to give us money.
*Also: We've left this yet-to-be-appproved comment on their blog. We'll see if they keep the "shut up" tape over our mouths:

Seriously? Hey Jeremy, if we ALL click the ads over and over and over, will NOM go bankrupt giving money to G-A-Y??? That would make my heart sing!

Well it would take awhile. But yes, they have to pay a little every time someone clicks.
And honestly, I don't feel at all threatened by them. So for now, I'll leave them. Feel free to click.

When ever I think of Maggie Gallagher, I have developed this neural pathway that pseudo-contracts her name into MaGAGlagher. I always thought that it was that I felt like gagging whenever I saw a pic of her. But, I just realized that it must be related to her stupidly logic-twisted "stop the gay kids from gagging our kids on the Day of Silence" ads.
That MaGAGlager, and her sad attempts at "Art of War"-ing us out of existence. But we can laugh at her even sadder Prejean-istic attempts at "Art of Whore"ing us out of existence.

XD; WOW, That's a fail add.
Seriously, they could have done SO much better then simply putting 'shut up' on that ladies mouth, or heck, they could have even left it blank.
In fact, leaving it blank would have been better because even writing on the mouth illustrates the idea of talking, making the add a moot point in the graphic design department...
But I digress. I am now going to click on as many of those adds as I can. <3

I too would love to spend a great deal of time clicking on NOM ads, as it really makes me so happy to think of them forking over some of their ill gotten gains. Alas, all I can see is gay.com ads. Pity, really.

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't understand. Where are the ads located? Are they on the NOM site or on this G-A-Y site?

Michael: They are running here on several of our posts. They don't run every time -- they get rotated into the available ad spots.
