Plane silly: Kick and screaming for bias

by Jeremy Hooper

Rev-Brenda-LeeA credentialed reporter for a publication called The Georgia Informer was forcibly removed from a press holding area near Air Force One. What was the issue towards which she was causing a stink, you ask? Well...

She later identified herself as Brenda Lee, a writer for the Georgia Informer in Macon, and said she is a "Roman Catholic priestess" who lives in Anaheim, Calif.
...
Lee said later in a telephone interview with The Associated Press that she wanted to hand Obama a letter urging him "to take a stand for traditional marriage."

Of course. Because marriage equality, despite its very benign natures, has the unique ability to cause perfectly ordinary adults to go from zero to batsh*t faster than you can say "basic fairness." It's like catnip for crazy.

Perhaps to make amends, Ms. Lee should invoke her namesake:

Your thoughts

Huh. Is there such a thing as a "Roman Catholic Priestess"?

Never heard of that. Not that I pay much attention to the church, mind you...

Interesting point JWSwift! I would think that the only way she could bear such a title, is if she were a post-op transsexual! One would also think that that would be a defrock-able offense, though.

Get her collar? Pic I saw she was in old Nuns habit...but they didn't have collars like that.

"Catnip for crazies." YES, consider it stolen, JH.

A "Roman Catholic priestess" is about as real as a unicorn. The highest rank a woman can hold in the hierarchy of the Catholic Church is "Abbess."

But hey, I'm sure it's much more important that she work to deny ME rights than to stand up for her own.
