Brown won't make my 'New' eyes blue
"Governor Lynch and a narrow majority of the Legislature today have ripped a significant hole in the fabric of New Hampshire society by passing same-sex marriage legislation"
-Brian Brown, NOM
"And the fabric to which Brian is referring is of course the mosquito netting that he and his ilk have placed around loving gay couples, so as to make them seem more like bloodthirsty pests than fairness-thirsty citizens! All thanks to the New Hampshire legislature -- perhaps narrow in margin, but nowhere near narrow in mind -- for ripping down this cruel curtain." -Jeremy Hooper, G-A-Y
Your thoughts
I prefer hearing from him over Maggie. Brian just makes me huff and roll my eyes. Maggie triggers violent fantasies involving a katana. Now that I think of it, her statement will probably come later today.

Can't mend a suit without cutting some fabric, Brian.

Guess all of those phone calls Maggie made didn't mean one thing. Not many people want to work on Maggie's farm no more.

You actually raise a good point, John. I wonder what all of the people who finance NOM think when another state goes against them. Do they even stop and wonder if they could have actually *helped* the world with all of that money that they wasted?!

I didn't realize you were so cute! ;) Maybe I will have to start being nicer. haha.

You're not "not nice," Pomo. You just have a different point of view, which is very welcome.
What I asked of you in the other thread (http://www.goodasyou.org/good_as_you/2009/06/labarbera-larue-lasalvia-la-huh.html#comments), and will always ask of you in the future, is that you be a little more open to what I am saying to you rather than attempting to tell me what I am/think/do. Reasonable back-and-forth is what this comments forum is all about, and I certainly process any right-of-center thing that you say. But I demand the same respect.

"Governor Lynch and a narrow majority of the Legislature today have ripped a significant hole..."
What about the narrow majority in California?

He's feeling guilt ridden because New Hampshire rejected his claim that homophobia is moral. He's frustrated, because he was again unable to impose his religious beliefs on the citizens of another state. And he's angry, because last weekend in San Diego, less than 300 people showed up at a huge stadium for an anti-gay rally where he spoke. It was hoped by the anti-equality crowd that thousands would show up. I laughed till I cried when I heard about the real turnout from the San Diego newspaper!
