Deja New: Hampshire legislature back on marriage task
Now that New Hampshire lawmakers have seemingly worked out their differences regarding the state's marriage equality bill, the right and fair notion is again before the two chambers today. This morning it passed the Senate, just as it did last go around:
NH Senate passes gay marriage revision [AP via KTTC]
But now it's on to the iffier House, where the measure bit it (by a mere 2 votes) two weeks ago. Here's hoping this Wed. is the day NH's gay locals will finally be permitted to do the same.
**Gov. Lynch is not expected to have any problem signing today's legislation. In fact, he is expected to do so immediately.
**Live video stream is here (not sure of the exact time that they'll consider the measure).
**Actually the audio feed seems to be working better than video. That's here.
**MAJOR UPDATE: BREAKING: Let's all (unofficially) welcome state #6 [G-A-Y]
Your thoughts
Yeah! New Hampshire gives gays and lesbians a chance to marry, while shoving it up the asses of their trans population. Let's celebrate!
