NOM on Carrie: There's simply no way she could be to blame
Oh, NOM: Is there no script into which you won't cast yourself or your peeps as the victims?
This from a new release:
"Hollywood hates Carrie. First they abuse her, then they try to get her to recant, then they threw mud, and now they are doing what they wanted to do from day one: Get rid of Carrie.
This cover story about a contract dispute doesn’t pass the smell test. Americans aren’t fooled that easily. God knows, and we know, the truth about Carrie: She’s a young woman of great beauty who chose truth over the glittering tiara that Hollywood offers," said Brian Brown, Executive Director for NOM. "Of course they will try to punish her, but we know she will be fine in the end, because her values are in the right place."
"Hollywood will dance its tribal war dance over her body--the hatred generated against her has been extraordinary--but Carrie will be free to define her own mission and message from now on. Congratulations," stated Maggie Gallagher, President for NOM.
THE NATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR MARRIAGE RESPONDS TO THE FIRING OF MISS CALIFORNIA USA CARRIE PREJEAN [NOM]
Now, keep in mind that every last detail we know about Ms. Prejean's firing involves her refusal to fulfill her contractual obligations. And keep in mind that TMZ has Carrie's biggest defender, Donald Trump, on record as saying that Carrie "treated [people] like s**t." Since Carrie is one of their own, NOM immediately paints this as some sort of a witch hunt wherein Carrie, by virtue of her "values," is above any and all reproach.
Disgusting, NOM. We know that your war on facts is almost as definitive of your organization as is your war on gays. But we would think that even you would wait for some shred of evidence before further shredding your credibility. Guess we were wrong.
**EARLIER: Schadenfreude. No offense. [G-A-Y]
**ALSO: Billy Bush breaks the news to Carrie, who also puts all blame on others:
*SOURCE: Carrie Prejean [Billy Bush]
**UPDATE: LiMandri as objective voice? We object! [G-A-Y]
Your thoughts
Anyone else get the idea that maybe Maggie Gallagher is going down on Prejean? Or Brian Brown? One of them is doing the deed with her.

LOL...the "smell test"? If we put NOM up to a smell test we wouldn't be able to be in the same room with Maggie or her cohorts. They reek. The distortions, lies, and half-truths that this organization fabricates on a daily basis is a source of most of the stench coming from the SSM debate.
Just try and post a differing view or actual facts on their FACEBOOK page and see what happens. You're deleted as quickly as they become aware of your post. It's sad, there is no room for anything other than the STRICT party line. Even when the party line is a lie.

This should be sufficient for Prejean to get a permanent News Reader/Model gig on Faux News. She'll fit in well there, and they probably won't mind her moonlighting for NOM.

Hollywood will dance its tribal war dance over her body--the hatred generated against her has been extraordinary...
Is that the pot calling the kettle black or what???? This from a group who hate US so much they would like to see us exterminated. Love thy neighbor!!! Not NOM

Wonder how they'd react if a Miss USA contestant were to come out, or just thank "my fathers" on stage. I'm guessing they'd leap to support a principled young woman trying to live her moral values...right?

It leaves her free to keep a contractual obligation with NOM. Now she can be their mascot.

There was another act of domestic terrorism yesterday and all NOM could do is continue the national conversation about Carrie Prejean.
Keep making yourself "relevant" NOM.

I think NOM has earned its own colored rectangle, Jeremy.
