While we were away: Ensign & Sanford stretched conserva-pocrisy to unexplored lengths
April, 2009:
"I believe that marriage should be defined as that between one man and one woman. You want to do what is ideal for children and all of the studies show that the ideal for children is to be in a household with a father and a mother.”
U.S. Sen. John Ensign (R-NV)
August, 2006:
“You’ve drifted a long way when you have to actually go about the business of defining what marriage is”
South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford
June, 2009:
Ensign:
Sanford:
It's almost become too common to even feel Schaadenfreudic. Almost.

Your thoughts
Is there any Republican who preaches family values that isn't divorced, having an affair or in the closet. The list just keeps getting longer and longer A marriage is between a man and a women and his mistress or his boy friend. So long that they aren't gay. That is the concept of family values put foward a bunch of the Republican leaders and the talkings heads the right.
