There was this mother whose son killed himself or something. But anyway, back to what I was saying about the evil gay agenda...
The following is a snippet from a new article wherein the Traditional Values Coalition's Andrea Lafferty condemns the proposed Safe Schools Improvement Act, a piece of federal legislation meant to increase protections for all kids, including those who happen to be LGBT. In it, we think you will clearly see the far-right's bizarre and offensive disregard for real issues in action:
The strategy is to use real cases of tragic harassment and bullying to impose the LGBT agenda on all public schools in America – using our tax dollars. The Department of Education’s Safe And Drug Free Schools is run by gay Czar Kevin Jennings, who founded GLSEN more than 20 years ago. His gay lobbying group will directly benefit from passage of the Safe Schools Improvement Act. Jennings held fundraisers for Obama before the election.
Witness after witness came forward with stories of bullying on elementary, middle and high school campuses. One tragic story was told by Sirdeaner Walker, whose son Carl was bullied so badly in school that he committed suicide at the age of 11.
The real goal of this hearing was to lay the groundwork for the imposition of the LGBT agenda on our nation’s schools. Every school that receives federal funding will be subject to government control – and Kevin Jennings, a gay activist, will determine who gets the money and how it is used.

Notice the absurd incongruity? In the second chunk of text, Ms. Lafferty fully admits that Sirdeaner Walker's testimony conveyed a tragic tale. But then, just as she had done in every sentence before that one admittance, Andrea immediately goes into gay-condemning mode, continuing to present this bill as some sort of "agenda"-laden measure born out of no real need. She doesn't expound at all on Sirdeaner Walker's testimony, which is the true meat of this matter. Andrea simply gives terse, disrespectful lipservice to the sadness, then moves right on to her own dangerous ideas like the one where she boldly declares that "Issues about school safety and bullying are simply smokescreens to hide the real agenda."
So what did Andrea so easily pooh pooh as "smokescreen"? Well here, let's let Ms. Walker tell you for herself:
Somehow we think that Ms. Walker's "agenda" is less one of "culture war" politics, and more one of heartbroken death prevention. Somehow we think that the American people's agenda is increasingly less likely to "Laff" off the "pro-family" community's callous disregard for LGBT lives.
Your thoughts
So much of conservatives' social agenda boils down to, "You have absolute freedom and liberty... to be just like us because anything else makes us nervous." In their view, Carl Walker was to blame for the bullying because he didn't try harder to be like everyone else. It makes it easy for them to be cavalier about the incident in press releases. "Protect the children" indeed.

Forty years after Stonewall, it is still not safe to be gay, or even if you are not gay it is not safe. But no one knows about this. The mainstream media is not reporting about the American Basij in Provincetown, MA raiding an Alcoholics Anonymous party of gay men, brutally arresting people illegally. They don't report the gay bashing going on all over PTOWN with police arresting the targets not the bashers.
Mainstream media is not reporting American Basij in Fort Worth, where a cop slammed a gay man into the sidewalk so forcefully the man ended up in the ICU with a bleeding brain.
Mainstream media is not reporting about the gay man in Minneapolis who was chased down the street by a gang of stone throwing kids, who were screaming faggot at him.
Mainstream media is not reporting about the gay man attacked by a group of guys, who were screaming faggot at him, bloodying his face, and bruising his body.
And of course mainstream media is not focusing on the gay sailor murdered in Camp Pendleton.
So instead of just posting what some heterosupremacist fool says, how about sending this to CNN, HLN Nancy Grace & Jane Valez Mitchell, MSNBC, ABC, CBS and even Fox Noise.
That's what I am doing, join in and let's not let Silence Equal Death.

^this here is a flashing warning that they're full of crap. Anytime someone whines about the party they hate giving positions to supporters is a partisan hack and nothing more. Literally every president since washington has given offices to their supporters but it becomes corrupt and wrong the moment the guy you dont like comes into power.
About the article, is anyone really suprised that TVC, a registered hate group, lies about this? its blatantly obvious they're happy to see gay kids get beaten up and killed.

I can't help but think that THIS issue...
The issue of preventing kids from being bullied in schools, and ADMITTING that gays are a prime problem and that the solution needs to admit that ...
THIS issue shows to me how much the "Family Values" crowd truly is indifferent/callous to the problems of gays.
If kids were being bullied in school for being Christian, you can bet that they would raise holy hell.
