Rob, Mary, and their phonetic cousins
This from Raw Story (and oh, it's raw alright):
Mary Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney and onetime gay outreach director for Coors Brewing Company, gave $1,000 to a Republican Senate hopeful who voted against same-sex marriage and allowing gay couples to adopt children in the District of Columbia.

The donation to former Rep. Rob Portman (R-OH) was made in May. Portman is seeking the Senate seat that will be vacated by Sen. George Voinovich (R-OH) when he retires in 2011.

OhmyGods, doesn't she have a kid herself?!?! And a partner?!?! It's her right to do with her money as she sees fit, but WOW, talk about shooting oneself (and family, and community) in the foot!
Some conservatives act like she's one of "the good ones". If that's what it takes to be a good sexual minority person in their eyes, may we all be horrible.
