Milk bill: Will Assembly buy the cow?
We just heard that SB572, the bill to honor Harvey Milk with an annual day of recognition, has failed in the California state Assembly by a three vote margin. But according to the anti-gays at SaveCalifornia.com, it can still pass.
So what does this mean for the bill? Is it really on the cusp of failure? Who has the scoop? And who's currently winning Harvey and Jerry Falwell's afterlife match of strip Clue? When will we know?
We'll get you all these answers when we have them (*Or at least most of the answers, as those strip Clue games can go on for an eternity).
**UPDATE: Well we now have the most important answer: California Assembly Passes Harvey Milk Day Bill [EQCA]
**Now call Governor Schwarzenegger and Tell him to SIGN the bill if/when it passes. The number is (916)445-2841!!
