Video: And if we're being honest, her top's a little too summery
Alright, so we're not going to rehash all the Carrie Prejean stuff. You've heard it all before: She gave a bad answer, people pushed back (as per their own free speech right), and then Carrie was immediately snatched up by Maggie Gallagher and turned into an anti-equality martyr. There's nothing else that needs to be said there, and it doesn't even matter what we say anyway. We will just be written off as "haters," part of that mythical "they" that has supposedly made Carrie's life a living hell.
What we do want to address is the unbelievable arrogance and sense of entitlement that Carrie has adopted in her public appearances. Arrogance in making it seem like she would have inevitably won Miss USA had it not been for her answer. Arrogance in how she presents her pageant work, as if it is on the level of noble humanitarian work in Darfur. Arrogance in writing off any and all of the criticism that came her way as being "hate," even though many voices (including this site) took on only her public work and not her personal character. Arrogance in claiming that people went after her grandmother, when it was granny who chose to enter into the debate by giving an interview to Radar Online (to which even Perez Hilton with nothing but good spirits). Arrogance in suggesting that marriage equality is an out-of-line question for a Miss USA pageant, even though gay people and their rights is a crucial American conversation. Arrogance in suggesting that supporting marriage equality is little more than political correctness. Arrogance in saying that Miss USA "need a woman like [her]." Arrogance in her refusal to understand that Americans DO NOT have a right to "choose" who they want to marry. Her every last word is simply dripping with an unfortunate arrogance. And it's the worst kind, too, as it is filtered through that "pro-family" way of speaking wherein they act as if it's okay to gun for anyone's life, love, or liberty, just as long as the speaker professed that they love Jesus (who, of course, they say is on "their side.")
Below you will find Ms. Prejean's just concluded speech from the Values Voters Summit. But first you must listen to Maggie Gallagher, herself a professional pusher of marriage inequality, tell you how it's really the gay activists who are engaging in "licensed hatred." Like we said -- arrogant:

Your thoughts
Someone, anyone,PLEASE, just hit this woman with a pie already.

Anyone who watched the Miss USA pageant and followed the scores knows that Carrie was behind Miss N.C. in everything except Gown (it was fabulous!) Her answer, although controversial, was also completly incorrect. She had the right to her thoughts, but you have to back it up with facts, something she was unable to do. Although in her mind, she should have won and she can blame whom ever she pleases....and she can play the martyr all she wants. She has now entered the world of bigots. How about that for a legacy?

I know she did NOT just wear white AFTER Labor Day!

I'm no expert on fashion, but I have to agree about that top being too summery. Aren't you not supposed to wear white after labor day?

oh no! I was mocked for being a Christian! What a pitiful victim she is - and how nauseating her self-righteousness is.
"Some people can be so intolerant - it disgusts me."
Yeah, Carrie? Me too.
And apparently there is only room at their table for Christians at this rally - so much for anyone who might be Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, or any other faith. I feel like these people were all dropped on their heads as infants - did they not get the memo about our country not being a theocracy? That personal civil liberties are supposed to be protected by our constitution? Not everyone in the USA is Christian, which means we shouldn't be ruled by Christian law as a whole.
Cry me a river about your crown, girlfriend. Personally you seem a little soft in the head. Maybe you should get a helmet instead.

Breaking News:
Carrie Prejean’s appearance at the Values Voters Summit has intensified the excitement surrounding her upcoming blockbuster book, Still Standing, scheduled for release in November. Reliable sources now tell us that the full title of the book, a closely guarded secret until now, will be:
STILL STANDING! . . .
How I got a boob job without becoming top-heavy.

Her self-righteousness is amazing.
Unfortunately, she has added nothing to this conversation ever since Keith Olbermann OWNED her months ago:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMjQmjA0vks
She was an *employee,* and as such is not entitled to free speech. Nor was she silenced, because that week she was on the Today Show *twice.*
Oh and don't forget to schill for your book over and over. Self-righteousness at its best.

what if someone asked her what are your thoughts on freeing the slaves. And she said no offense to anybody but i think freedom is between white man and a white women

Best line of the week from Bill Maher:
"Carrie Prejean said God chose her that night at the Miss USA contest. If God is THAT concerned with beauty pagents, he's gay."
This bitch will get hers. Guaranteed she's got some skeletons in the closet, old fuck buddies or (more) nudie shots.
She reminds me of the evil cheerleader in high school who everyone thought was so great but really was an evil whore. These people think they are so entitled because they convince each other they have God on their side. They can do anything because they say God wants them to. Well you know what? God wants me to tell you to SHUT THE FUDGE UP CARRIE.

I finally got around to actually watching part of her tirade (on Maddow), and the one thing that appeared perfectly clear is that she has now painted herself into a corner where the only thing that she will ever be able to do in the future is to play this bitter, angry-as-hell, martyred victim for the religicrats.
You would think, (and of course, this presupposes that she has a clue), that she would want to distance herself from all of that nastiness. She has to realize that her shelf life as the wickedly hateful witch is pretty short. And, that her best opportunities for the future are in the industries that are bastions for we homos. At least Anita Bryant spent several years exploiting her skindeepidness before she shat in her nest. Prejean just keeps piling it up higher and higher, probably hoping to build up her martyr status, and banking her professional career on the success of this "book".
And, it makes some sense, because she probably knows that this "book" needs to sell well, because she may have to live off of the proceeds for a long time.

Oh, yeah...can't you see her playing Glenda in Wicked! ... anyway she is Miss Universe all, she crowned herself.. Who plays her on SNL? ...
and Dick, said it all. But the pie is a great idea! Please make it chocolate.

Carrie Prejean lost for one reason alone being the current Miss USA is simply more beautiful. Carrie Prejean is such a bad loser and is taking advantage of her loss acting a martyr to drive her opportunistic political agenda. What a dishonest and shamefull person she truly is.
