I was raised in Maine, and I have to say I have a lot of faith that the citizens of Maine are going to come through. Maine's motto is "Dirigo" which is latin for "I Lead" and Mainers have a fundamental respect for their neighbors, rights, and generally don't care what their neighbors do so long as they are still permitted to live their lives.
GO MAINE! NO ON 1!!!

This makes me cry little happy tears. I can't get to Maine at this time, but I wish the best for the tireless volunteers. When the fight comes to my state, I'll be the first to sign up.
