With rhetorical crap this odiferous, it's quite good that Ashley's toilet is getting flushed
Focus on the Family's Ashley Horne says:
It’s come to our attention that President Obama will “commemorate” the enactment of the hate-crimes bill this Wednesday, October 28th.
Let’s all pause and listen to the sound of a little more of your religious liberty being flushed down the toilet.
Because let’s be honest. This bill was never about addressing the “epidemic” of hate crimes against homosexuals that advocates claimed it was.
That’s the Sound of Your Religious Liberty Flushing Away [FOF]

Let’s all pause and think about the sound of a little boy with his head being flushed down the toilet amidst gay taunts.
Because let’s be honest. This bill is about addressing the epidemic of hate crimes against LGBTs that advocates claim it is. Denying this fact in the name of partisan politics is not only unfair -- it's viciously negligent.
But hey, what do I know? I'm simply a gay human being who grew up in the public school system of a very small, rural town. What insight could I possibly have into the subject of anti-gay bullying that would ever trump that of a white, heterosexual, Christian?
Your thoughts
Were it up to me, I'd flush every one of those perceived religious liberties straight down the crapper. The first thing to go would be the tax exemption.

Was going to commend JH for the piece, but Tony P. nailed it!
Isn't it splendiferous that they have all that Catholic and Mormon money to spend fighting
CIVIL MARRIAGE laws!

She considers it within the bounds of "religious liberty" to target someone with violence on the basis of sexual orientation?
If so, then fuck her religious liberty.

WWJMFBG - Who Would Jesus Murder For Being Gay?

I personally DO NOT THINK IT'S ANY OF MY BUSINESS! I don't care if you're black, white, heterosexual, homosexual, green, purple or yellow!!!!!!!! The Bible clearly says: Matthew 7:1 [ Judging Others ] "Do not judge, or you too will be judged". It is not for us to judge anyone - No pointing fingers because you always have some pointing back at you. God tells us to get our own house in order, and that "He" is the only one with authority to Judge anyone according to their actions. I have always been open minded and asked myself many times, "Where would Jesus be today if he were walking among us"?. I truly believe that he would be walking beside the gay community, helping the homeless and bringing people into his house for worship. We all make our own choices and decisions, it's called Free Will!
I have gay friends, I only ask them to please not push their belief's upon me, and I will respect them and do the same. I still Love them, Pray for them, and support them in whatever they choose to do with their lives. AMEN
