Justice delayed, justice D-NYed?

From the Daily News:

As of this moment, the outlook for the same-sex marriage bill is not good, and it appears likely that the measure will not come up for a vote when the Senate convenes at noon for a special session called by Gov. David Paterson.

A source involved in the negotiations said definitively: "It is not coming to the floor."

**UPDATE: Elizabeth Benjamin has aded this update to above-linked story: "The Senate Democrats are right now discussing marriage behind closed doors in a members-only conference. They kicked the staff out, but a source informs me the debate is "very passionate," and advocates have not yet given up hope."
