Video: It'll be televised -- but is it a revolution?
How far have we come? Where do we need to go? Will the lesbian community need to be put on suicide watch if the producers ever decide to get rid of Joan from "Mad Men"?
MediaWeek has a new series looking at the ins and outs of the current, Gleeful state of American television:
Gay TV Now [MediaWeek]
As for the state of anti-gay TV? Well you're being extremely inappropriate right now, reader, and I'm about to walk off your show.
Your thoughts
It's not just lesbians who are in love with Joan. I know I speak for many a gay man when I say she's my favorite character in the show!

For the record, Zack Galifinacas or whatever, is clearly the hot guy in that scene

Jeremy, I sent this to you via another email because I had Senior Moment...
but the message is the same and TRUE!
Houston... "You" have a problem!
Anti-Gay Attacks Get Nasty in Houston Mayor’s Race
Sadly... disinformation is a 2 way street. Back in 1979...
When Harry Britt was running against Terry Hallinan for the supervisor
of the 5th district, Harry's campaign put OUT a folded brochure. On
the Front it asked the question
"WHO NEEDS A GAY SUPERVISOR?" and on the inside "WE DO!"
Can you imagine how the gay community would of responded had
TERRY'S CAMPAIGN HAD PUT OUT A BROCHURE THAT READ...
"WHO NEEDS A STRAIGHT SUPERVISOR? WE DO!"... Let's face it...
politics hasn't changed much over the years. No matter if the subject
is religion, sexual preferences or Swift- Boats...When was the last
time that a campaign brochure caused you to change your mind for or
against a candidate?
Here we are, in the 21 Century... and instead of electing
candidates based on their records... it's the same old thing... voting
against someone, rather than for someone.
