Video: No we won't be kissing your ass, porchside pundit. And you won't be taking our rights!

by Jeremy Hooper

Personally I detest smoking. Much of this is due to growing up in a smoking household and having my clothes smell like it all throughout my childhood. The memory of that, coupled with some folks in my life who have suffered or even died from smoking related diseases, has led me to take a fairly staunch anti-smoking policy in my own life.

But I am not the American government. My personal feelings about cigarettes do not negate the fact that they are a fairly produced commercial good that Americans have the right to purchase and use. I don't want to smoke, so I don't. But I'm not going to deny anyone else's right to do so. Not even a man who wishes to deny me of my legal right to have my marriage as fully recognized as my heterosexual peers:

Civil marriage is a civil union! The false construct is not the idea that civil marriage (as opposed to religious ceremony) should be open to all. The false notion is the idea that certain kids of civil unions deserve a separate and unequal name!

Your thoughts

I had a similar experience with smokers in my youth. I know my Dad had a dickens of a time in quitting and he finally did with good hard self-determination and internal resolve. I'm mad he left this life too early because of something so addictive that was given out free by the tobacco industry to hook their victims.

I detest the smell of the burning sticks. I refused to travel to Las Vegas because of all the smoke there. It's much better now but I remember how the crystals on all the chandeliers at Caesar's Palace would be coated with yellow tinge from all the smoke.

Now I have to deal with a neighbor who smokes on his patio and the stench wafts over to my backyard. It's sickening. I can't even keep a window open either.

I should pity him. He will be in the hospital at an early age and wonder why his lungs and heart need transplanting.

Thanks for posting this Jeremy. A friend of mine who is an attack dog is currently attacking this POS on YouTube.

All of the videos concerning Same sex marriage by this multiple married and divorced twat have been removed and I hope it was because of albertrossington, a most able sock puppet, or by myself who called him on the subject. He reminded me of the old farts my father used to hang out with at the VFW.

He brought it, I finished it.
