Black tar lesbian heroines

by Jeremy Hooper

This from the American Family Association's Bryan Fischer

"It might be worth noting that what I actually suggested is that we impose the same sanctions on those who engage in homosexual behavior as we do on those who engage in intravenous drug abuse, since both pose the same kind of risk of contracting HIV/AIDS. I'd be curious to know what you think Bryan Fischer-1should be done with IV drug abusers, because whatever it is, I think the same response should be made to those who engage in homosexual behavior.

If you believe that what drug abusers need is to go into an effective detox program, then we should likewise put active homosexuals through an effective reparative therapy program."
...
"The bottom line here is that, biblically, those "who practice homosexuality" should come under the purview of the law just as much as those who take people captive in order to sell them into slavery.

You express a belief in the Scriptures, and I trust your confidence in Scripture is not selective. If you believe all Scripture is inspired, then you are compelled to accept that legal sanctions may appropriately be applied to those who engage in homosexual behavior."
Legal Sanctions for Homosexual Behavior [AFA]
(H/T: Joe.My.God)

Maybe somebody said to him, "let's ban heroin," and he mistakenly thought they said "lesbian heroines"? Maybe? Possibly?

Work with us, folks: It's way too sucky-nutty-frightening to believe that a human being could actually say something like the above and actually mean it!

Your thoughts

This. Is. Terrifying.

The fact that he uses "biblically" and "law" in the same sentence, as if they the bible and civil laws are one in the same.

If you believe scriptures, I hope this guy is ushing for legal sanctions of such ideas as:

"Suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." - 1 Timothy 2:12.
-Law to reflect said scripture: All women who are in a power of authority over men are to be jailed.

"For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death!" - Leviticus 20:9
-Law to reflect said scripture: All children who act out against their parents will be executed.

"If a man rapes a virgin and gets caught, he must pay 50 pieces of silver to her father, and then marry her." - Deuteronomy 22:28-29
-Law to reflect said scripture: Any girl who is raped (being she is a virgin, of couse) is to marry the rapist, after he pays her father today's equivilance of 50 pieces of silver. Let us not forget inflation!

"Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves." - Leviticus 25:44
-Law to reflect said scripture: Americans can own slaves, as long as they come from Mexico or Canada.

"For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death." - Exodus 35:2
-Law to reflect said scripture: Anyone who works on Sunday should be executed.

'When a woman has her regular flow of blood, the impurity of her monthly period will last seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean till evening" - Leviticus 15:19-24
-Law to reflect said scripture: Anyone who touches their wife/girlfriend/sister/mother while she has her period should be jailed for being unclean in the eyes of God. And in fact, any woman who ALLOWS any many to touch her during her period, should be jailed for even longer.

Let's go Fisher, I'll help you start drafting the legislation for each of these. Together, we can make it happen!

Mother Morrighan, this truly sickens and terrifies me! I noticed, today, that in a recent thread over at the Courage Campaign, one guy responded that his Grandfather was a survivor of Nazi Germany and, when he was little, ol' Grandad once remarked to him, "You know it's starting again when they come after the queers!"

And, why are there so many seriously disturbed, anti-Gay jerks names "Brian", anyway?

As always, we get far more support from atheists than we do from those who wear "Christian" on their sleeves. One of the ScienceBlogs is on this AFA case: http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2010/02/arent_they_cute_when_they_unas.php
