DADT in POTUS' SOTU: OMG! or j/k?
Is the president planning on discussing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" in this week's State of the Union? Perhaps, says Sen. Carl Levin:
Now Democratic Sen. Carl Levin, Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, is saying he expects the president to address "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell" in the speech, CBS News Capitol Hill producer John Nolen reports.
Levin said he didn't know what or how much the president would say on the topic.

I have no clue.
On the one hand, this is a huge venue, and it doesn't make sense after how he's kept us off the radar for the last year.
On the other hand, it'd probably be good strategy for us if he pushes it through. If people see us working openly in the military, they might find it harder to deny us other rights.
But again, the man has been nothing but empty rhetoric since the primary, and I'll believe it when I see it.

After all of the Brown stuff last week, I decided that this will be a week to restore my "hope." I'm trying as hard as I can to again become a fierce supporter of my "fierce advocate." Genuinely and sincerely.
Now let's see if he gives me reason. He could do a lot with this speech.
