Trial (ours) and error (theirs)

by Jeremy Hooper

Monday was quite the interesting day at the Prop 8 trial, with the opposition's "expert witness," Professor Kenneth Miller, basically admitting that LGBT people are discriminated against in this country. And at other times, he seemed like he was more of a student getting a lesson from David Boies on the nature of prejudice in America than a key defendant of marriage bias. For the defense it was yet another "With friends like these..." kind of day, right up there with the Nathanson/Young videos and the Dr. "gay = pedophilia/prostitution" Tam testimony.

But don't take our word for it. Here's the official transcript from the defense's DeFAIL:

(Boies' cross-examination is particularly good. That starts at 2488)

Your thoughts

I know that no one will be calling Mags' to the stand, but a brother can hope, can't he?! *I* just wanna' see her cry on the stand when faced with all of the evil deeds she's committed, and they try and find some rational basis for her hatred and fear-mongering! :o)
