The world according to Larry Kramer: Obama's heartless, though Lincoln certainly had something big and throbbing within him
We know this will surprise you, but Larry has an opinion:
Share the Joy tonight. It should be interesting.
Your thoughts
Kramer's "evidence" leaves one wanting a real explanation.

Kramer is such a demagogue. It is embarrassing to listen to him. I wonder if anyone will ever ask him why he called on gay people to violently riot at the International AIDS Conference in San Francisco in 1990, and then failed to show up himself. Or why he called on gays to form cells modeled on the Irgun (which used terrorist bombings to drive the British out of Palestine), but then failed to follow through on his own advice. He also advocated blowing up Gracie Mansion in NYC, but stayed safely in his upscale neighborhood, never sullying his hands with C4. All of these vile quotes are easily found via Google.
Just like a demagogue: always eager to provoke and inflame, always ready to fight to the last drop of someone else's blood.

Yea, I'm not gonna lie: I find his assessment of Pres. Obama to be way beyond the pale. Of course there'd be no point in me saying so in any public setting, since he'd surely just scream at me anyway.

Whatever, Larry.
Hasn't he outlived his usefulness?

If you want to know how warped Larry Kramer is, pick up a copy of his novel Faggots. It's ugly and I'd even say anti-gay. It might be a bit of an eye-opener for some people, it's so bad.
I find it hard to take him seriously, and I frankly can't understand why so many people did take him seriously for so long.

It must be exhausting to be so bitter all the time!
