Audio: Admiral Barber lays out Operation: Paint Gays as Diseased Perverts
Matt "the pro-family community's biggest liability" Barber has built his hyperbolic career around stigmatizing the LGBT community as sick, immoral, perverts. So even though Matt "I've never met a thesaurus that I wouldn't overuse for the purposes of ad hominem attack" Barber knows that servicemembers are medically screened and even though Matt "gays are 'purveyors of evil'" Barber knows that a positive HIV/AIDS diagnosis currently disqualifies any soldier (straight or gay or bi or whatever) from initial enlistment or deployment (though not stateside service -- read policy facts here), Matt "one man violently cramming his penis into another man’s lower intestine and calling it ‘love’" Barber is now suggesting that Don't Ask Don't Tell repeal would for some reason lead to an onslaught of infectious disease in the armed services. All because Matt "I want people to think I'm tough which is why I engage in such aggressive discourse" Barber can stop what he calls a "radically obnoxious minority of sexual anarchists/activists" who are pushing "San Francisco style experimentation."

Though apparently he's all about lesbians serving, since they are one of the lowest risk groups. So that's good.
We have nothing more to say about this, really. It's more of the same kind of thing that has led us (and a couple of "pro-family" people with whom this writer's chatted) to refer to Matt as a liability for his movement. Matt's willing to go rogue within his own movement, regularly taking rhetoric to far more militant and far more shameful places than anyone else. He seems to see it as a bold rejection of political correctness. He seems to see it as tough. We, however, see it as a completely unpragmatic, chaotic strategy that fully shows the movable middle just how radical and offensive the gay community's organized opposition can be. We're confident that just the fact that Liberty Counsel (and outlets like WorldNetDaily and One News Now) give him this rope will ultimately lead Matt to hang up his own hurtful cause.

If you take out the anarchists part, that phrase can be used to describe most of the pro-family movement.
Using such aggressive discourse doesn't make Barber appear tough. It makes him appear radically obnoxious. Wait, where have I heard those words before?

Where does one purchase neckties that are six inches wide? Does he have them made specially? I guess any expense to put on a false facade (which is what those in the anti-gay camp do every time they do anything anti-gay), is money well spent for the professional lying liars.
