Tie the knot, loosen the Beltway
The cliché is for a couple to get married and then get lazy and gain weight. A D.C. Ben & Jerry's store is helping one gay couple along in fulfilling that fate:
Keith Spangler and Andreas Vellios plan to exchange vows inside the Georgetown Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shop on Thursday.

I know this shop well - has caused me and my boyfriend many fights over whether we'd go there or to Johnny Rocket's for a milkshake =D

DN: A Johnny Rockets just opened right across the street from my apt. So far Andrew and I have been good about resisting our veggie burger/fry/shake combo. But for how long?

Well my saving grace, DN, is that I really like Johnny Rocket's Sprite. Not sure why that is, but it's really strong or something. I almost never drink soda, but there's is particularly good. And somewhat less indulgent than a shake.
