Eggin' McCain: Protesters sit so John might stand
Some say they are with GetEQUAL, others say they are with Equality Across America (which seems more likely). Whatever the affiliation, there are currently five protestors sitting in Sen. John McCain's AZ office:

Or by this point, they may already be arrested. The above is the latest info anyone has.
What we do know is that showing up and refusing to leave has officially become a bona fide Spring 2010 trend. Last year gingham, this year handcuffs?

*UPDATE1: Names we're hearing to be among the protestors: Meg Sneed and First Class Petty Officer Lonnie Allen. Also, some are saying that neither Equality Across America nor GetEQUAL had prior knowledge of this action.
**UPDATE2: Okay, our pal Nathan Treanor clears it up with names, affiliations, and current arrest status. It does seem to have been independent of both GetEQUAL and EAA:
"First Class Petty Officer [Lonnie] Allen Howard-Stidham and four members of H.E.R.O. (Meg Sneed, Luisa Valdez, Jimmy Gruender and Lee Walters) have just been arrested for asking to speak with Sen. John McCain about the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy at the Senator's office." [Source]
