Attention SPLC/LaBarbera watchers
Peter LaBarbera is about to do another piece on the Southern Poverty Law Center. Here's an image he just uploaded to his server:

What Pete is highlighting here is a mistake that SPLC made in its 2005 Intelligence Report, wherein the writer mistakenly mixed up Pete with Paul Cameron on the one point about the APA. In reality, Pete has cited Paul Cameron's stats (which led the SPLC to add the Illinois Family Institute on their hate groups list during Peter's tenure), but they are actually two different people. Paul is the one who was thrown out of the APA, not Pete.
The Wash Times and Lambda Report parts of the sentence are correct. This one note about the APA is obviously a mistake made in haste. But knowing Pete, he will surely use this honest mistake to discredit SPLC as a whole. Let's get in front of it.
