Pugno campaign PROP-a-g8s forward
Andy Pugno -- general counsel for Proposition 8's "Protect Marriage" coalition and sayer of things like, "there is no doubt that re-defining marriage to include homosexual relationships would ipso facto divorce the institution itself from its fundamental, biological foundation" -- managed to win his primary yesterday. A contest between moving forward and working to heal wounds vs. turning Prop 8 into one overwrought, incredibly divisive movement with no foreseeable end.
Pugno's spent the last few of years of his adult life using his personal faith-based convictions to get the word out about gays and their supposed inability to stand on an equal CIVIL playing field. It's our time to take control of the conversation!
