Reeling it back, hoping we were born yesterday
First he privated the video wherein he said gays are seeking "prostitution, pedophilia, and polygamy." Now Louis Marinelli -- the man who identifies himself as a NOM strategist, who has masterminded NOM's summer marriage tour (months before NOM announced anything), and to whom NOM has proudly linked (proof of it all here) -- is now doing even more damage control. He (or someone from his team) just tweeted the following:
Two different entities? Well, uhm -- no duh. Nobody every suggested otherwise! But as long as NOM is signing on to this summer marriage tour that began with "Protect Marriage Site," as long as they are directing their own Twitter followers to the "Protect Marriage" Facebook wall, and as long as they are allowing the use of their logos and branding on all of these efforts, then there is super glue binding the House of Gallagher and the House of Marinelli! (*again, it's all fleshed out here, for those who haven't seen)
The truth: NOM has gotten themselves in a mess here, signing on to an effort simply because it (esp. the popular Facebook page) has lots of followers, neglecting to vet the harsh, thoroughly off-message rhetoric that has fueled it. And until the credibility-seeking NOM repudiates it, then it's all going to stick to them. That's a promise (Just FYI).

**And last one: Marinelli and crew have been promoting the summer marriage tour for months. Long before NOM ever came on board with any mention or branding (something they only did this month):
Connected. Undeniably.

**UPDATE, 7/13: And now NOM is just coming right out and admitting that they are connected, changing their official Facebook page to Marinelli's own effort: Who needs a militant agenda? NOM has allowed selves (and message) to be hijacked [G-A-Y]
