'False' witness: What O'Donnell was telling youth back in 2000
Here's another concerning blip on Christine O'Donnell record: Back in 2000, while appearing alongside figures like Jerry Falwell at all three city stops on the Youth Specialties National Youth Workers Convention tour, the current GOP candidate for U.S. Senate from Delaware led a seminar on "Confronting False Sexual identities":
Now, Christine's session might not have dealt entirely with homosexuality. But considering what we know about her turn-of-the century "ex-gay" work, her circa 2000 comments about Ellen Degeneres' emotional well-being, the fact that Googling the term "false sexual identity" turns up hits almost exclusively linked to LGBT matters, and the host organization's own clear feelings on "changing gays" from around that time, it's pretty safe to say that the current candidate probably wasn't referring to closeted gays who date the opposite sex as the "false sexual identities" in need of confrontation!
